NSF ACCESS Resources
The U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) has established and funded the ACCESS program to help researchers, educators, and graduate students utilize the nation’s computing resources and services. These resources and services include computational systems (supercomputers to smaller compute clusters), data and storage services, science gateways, training and workshops, expertise, and community connections.
- More information on ACCESS is available at their website (https://access-ci.org/),
- Eligibility guidelines are at (https://allocations.access-ci.org/allocations-policy#eligibility)
- Information for researchers, educators, or graduate students on getting started (https://access-ci.org/get-started/).
- ACCESS also provides a number of different training resources and events (https://support.access-ci.org/events).
In general, ACCESS resources and services are available to U.S. -based researchers (faculty, staff, or postdocs), educators, or graduate students. Funding is not a requirement for an ACCESS allocation (limit of one allocation). However, funding from any agency or source does qualify for a separate allocation per funded-award. Research can be in any field of study including the physical sciences, life sciences, engineering, social sciences, the humanities, and the arts. ACCESS supports work intended for publication or other appropriate forms of scholarly dissemination. Proprietary or confidential work is not supported by ACCESS. Please contact the ACCESS help desk (link below) if you have questions concerning the eligibility of your work for ACCESS resources and services.
