| Erick McGhee is an HPC Systems Administrator with the National Institute for Computational Sciences (NICS) at the University of Tennessee. He focuses on reliable operations, automation, and security for Linux-based HPC clusters that serve researchers and external partners. Before joining NICS, Erick advanced at East Tennessee State University from part-time hardware technician to customer support specialist, Systems Analyst II, and finally Linux Systems Administrator. At NICS, he contributes within HPC Operations and has supported collaborations historically associated with XSEDE and industry.
